Rates change

Rates are variable and were accurate to the best of our knowledge when checked (last update Nov 3, 2026). Providers can change them at any time. Promotional rates, balance tiers, eligibility and fees may apply. Always confirm the current terms on the provider's website before opening an account.

Insurance and risk labels

Our FDIC / SIPC / Treasury-backed / Not insured labels are simplified summaries. Coverage limits and conditions apply. Crypto assets, including USDC, are not FDIC- or SIPC-insured and can lose value.

Newsletter

Newsletter signups are handled by beehiiv, our email provider (see beehiiv's privacy policy). Subscriber email addresses are used only to send the weekly CashRate Watch email. We never sell them. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every email.

Affiliate relationships

We do not currently have any affiliate relationships, and the links on this site are plain links to providers' own pages. In the future we may earn commissions from some providers when readers open or fund accounts through our links. If we do, we will label those links. Compensation will not change how rates are ranked: tables are sorted by rate.

Data sources

Rates come from providers' public pages and from US Treasury auction data (FiscalData auctions dataset; each T-bill row links to its TreasuryDirect auction results release).
